IT Systems Administrator
Position Overview
As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure of the company: physical servers, the corporate network, user endpoints, as well as services and applications used within the organization (VOIP, mail servers, Active Directory). You will manage backup systems. You will be responsible for maintaining development environments, websites, and databases. Occasionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in various system and service deployments and installations for our clients (both remotely and on-site). You will also have the chance to implement new technologies and solutions within the company.
Key responsibilities
- Administration of Windows Active Directory.
- Managing the company network (BGP, VLAN).
- Managing development environments, databases, and web servers.
- Managing physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux, VMWare).
- Managing the backup system.
- Participation in installations and deployments of complete solutions for clients (storage arrays, backup systems, high-availability clusters, private cloud solutions – VMware vSAN, Windows Storage Spaces Direct, Proxmox, Microsoft Azure Stack HCI, Open Stack).
- Managing user endpoints (laptops, desktop PCs, desk phones, mobile phones) and the VOIP system.
- Administration of company applications (Microsoft 365, SCCM, Intune, JIRA, Confluence, Bitwarden, Adobe, and many others).
- Monitoring the infrastructure and troubleshooting issues.
- Implementing new solutions and technologies to improve the company's operations (e.g., AI).
Our Requirements
- Higher education in computer science.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Fluent knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Fluent knowledge of networking concepts.
- Fluent knowledge of Windows Active Directory.
- Fluent knowledge of Linux systems.
- English proficiency sufficient for comfortably reading technical documentation of devices and software.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Conscientiousness and attention to detail in action.
- Independence.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of telecommunications topics such as BGP, anti-DDoS, etc.
