Looking for a server that simply works – both today and in a few years? HPE ProLiant servers are hardware you can rely on. Solid construction, flexible configuration, and convenient management make them suitable for both simple deployments and large, complex IT environments. At Hardware Direct, you'll find a full range of models – from compact single-processor machines to powerful dual-socket configurations for companies that need performance and scalability. No unnecessary frills – just well-thought-out, proven hardware that gets the job done

A range of models – from DL60 to DL380 Gen10 Plus

The dominant part of the offer consists of rack servers from the ProLiant DL series, mainly DL360 and DL380 models in Gen9, Gen10, and Gen10 Plus versions. Compact DL360 (1U) servers are excellent for space-constrained environments, while the more extensive DL380 (2U) servers offer more drive bays and better expansion capabilities. You can also choose cheaper single-processor units, such as the DL60 or DL120, which will be a good base for domain controllers, file services, or simpler development environments. If you need something to start with without overpaying – these designs will be a safe start. And if you're building something bigger, you'll find full-fledged platforms for the server room here.

HPE Servers – processors, RAM, and configuration flexibility

Depending on the model, HPE servers support Intel Xeon E5 v3/v4 (Gen9) or Xeon Scalable Silver/Gold (Gen10) processors – in single or dual-processor versions. Typical configurations include 32 or 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, with the possibility of expansion to several hundred gigabytes, and in the case of the latest models – even more. The sets offered at Hardware Direct usually have 2 SATA SSD drives (480–960 GB), with the option to install up to 12–16 2.5" or 3.5" drives, including NVMe in Gen10 Plus variants. Thanks to this, you can easily adapt the server to a specific task – from hosting applications to data storage or intensive work with VMs. Regardless of the chosen variant, each model offers room for growth – without the need to replace the entire platform.

RAID, power supplies, and iLO – or enterprise-class equipment

Most configurations include advanced HPE Smart Array RAID controllers – models P440 (Gen9) or P408i-a SR (Gen10), often with 2–4 GB of cache memory. These are solutions that ensure data security even in the event of media failures and allow flexible management of the array structure. Redundant hot-plug power supplies are standard in dual-processor servers, ensuring continuous operation even if one of the modules fails. Each unit also has an iLO (Integrated Lights-Out) remote management module – in many offers, an iLO Advanced license is immediately available, enabling remote system installation, restart, or KVM access via a browser. This equipment greatly simplifies the work of administrators – especially in distributed environments or server rooms without constant supervision.

Who are the HPE servers in our offer for?

Lighter configurations – such as the DL120 Gen9 with a single Xeon and 32 GB of RAM – will be ideal for simple roles: as file servers, Active Directory controllers, backup systems, or internal applications. In turn, models such as the DL380 Gen10 Plus with Silver Xeons and full NVMe support are designed for virtualization, databases, parallel processing, or distributed environments. Thanks to the large number of RAM slots and drive bays, they can be flexibly adapted to the changing needs of the company – without having to replace the entire hardware. These are servers that grow with the company – first they operate in a basic role, then they turn into full-fledged system nodes. Scalability here is not marketing – it's a reality.

HPE servers ready for deployment – right out of the box!

Most HPE servers in our offer are lease returns or recertified equipment – but ones that have undergone full testing and are in excellent condition. You get each set with a complete set of rails, cables, and server power supplies, so you don't have to look for anything or figure things out – you just mount it and it works. ProLiant servers are a solid foundation on which to base any project – from a small business to a large cluster. And that's what our customers appreciate them for: reliability, expandability, and a reasonable price go hand in hand here.
