Teradici's PCoIP protocol is a remote screen technology that allows applications and data (without leaving the data center or cloud), to be imaged and edited anywhere via any network and any tool. With PCoIP technology, applications can be hosted and managed in the cloud or data center, while users are constantly using them from distributed locations.
The card is recognized by the system as a display, directly connected to any GPU output via a display cable, and uses the PCIe bus to transmit USB control and audio. This solution provides the best possible user experience; encoding the pixels rendered by the system and encrypting them, then sending them over any IP network to the end device.
The card encrypts transmitted pixels using advanced security algorithms, including cryptography AES-256 and NSA Suite B.
